Each class is a gentle, enriching introduction to the wonders of the natural world. Classes take place outdoors, with indoor space available for inclement weather.

What to Expect:

Calling all little explorers! Nature Pals is a joyful, hands-on nature experience designed for toddlers ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Held at the beautiful ROOTS Homestead in Georgetown, DE, this weekly outdoor program invites little ones to discover, create, and connect through guided activities that encourage curiosity and socialization.

Join us for yoga that nurtures the body, mind, and heart—because at ROOTS, we’re more than just movement, we’re a community.

Moms Yoga Connection | Monthly, 2nd Tuesday, 7-8:15 PM

A restorative evening designed just for moms. Enjoy yin yoga, aromatherapy, meditation, and a connection circle, with an optional fire hangout afterward. Led by Lisa, this donation-based class supports the ROOTS Community Initiative.

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Lessons woven into every class to support self-regulation, emotional intelligence, and positive peer interactions.
  • Hands-On Engagement: Storytelling, role-playing, obstacle courses, and sensory activities bring movement and mindfulness to life.
  • A Whole-Body Approach: Yoga games, music, crafts, and guided meditation help students connect with their bodies and emotions in a playful, supportive environment.

At Grounded ROOTS Yoga, we go beyond traditional yoga—our classes integrate movement, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning (SEL) to help children and families build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness. Led by certified children's yoga instructors, our programs foster growth through engaging activities like breathing exercises, interactive games, and creative expression.

Parents and caregivers supervise while children explore freely, encouraging creativity, independence, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
